“ It's been a while since the last time a I've been to this location. It's right off of the turnpike and on my way home, thought it a good idea to eat something better than a burger. I ordered the boneless chicken, rice and beans and plantains. The food arrived quickly. I received a huge grilled chicken brest. Enough food for two. Just like I remembered. Everything was good and tasty. I had a full tank and ready to go. The service was a bit slow only because the place was full. The tables were clean. There were plenty of seats available. This place is great for lunch and dinner. I recommend. ”

“ IMHO, one of the surest signs that you are eating at a top area restaurant that serves tasty, affordable food in ample portions is the presence of law enforcement eating there! That was the first sign I had that this La Granja location was going to be a winner! The second was the steady steam of customers coming in for takeout orders placed either beforehand or as walk-ins. I was impressed because, for 2pm on a weekday, this place was buzzing with activity (and that is during the pandemic!). The small storefront was filled with waiting customers and the glorious aroma of rotisserie chicken and grilling meats. I didn't know what to get, so frankly I got two platters. The first was a whole chicken platter with tender, yellow rice and rich black beans. The second was a platter featuring a grilled full rack of spareribs. I also ordered a side of fried bananas and some crispy, fried empanadas for the drive home. I couldn't have been happier! The chicken was succulent and tender, the ribs (while a bit smaller than other racks I've had) were just a bit fatty in a good way and had the same charred flavor that my own father's charcoal-grilled ribs had that I remember eating as a child... And for 15.50 for the full rack platter, it was truly a bargain. I could eat the rice and beans all day! The rice was tender and moist, and the beans were cooked in a flavorful broth. I feel like many places serve bland, boring versions of these sides as a cheap, simple filler but La Granja really deliveres on flavor. Same goes for the chicken and beef empanadas. They were simple but delicious - the perfect hand food for on-the-go. The chicken ones were tasty but I really preferred the mildly spiced beef picadillo ones. Finally, the fried bananas were what I know as maduros. They were what they should be - fried ripened plantain chunks that were sweet and chewy on the inside while having a mild caramelized exterior with little crispy browned bits. Overall, I'd go back in a second. Luckily, there is another LA Granja location just 10 minutes from my home that I'll have to try. And remember what I said about seeing police officers at restaurants. They are a sure sign that you are at a great place and can't go wrong. Test this out yourself and you'll find it to be true. ”

“ I placed a pick up order for 4 bowls of soup. They were delicious, full of flavor with fresh ingredients. My only recommendation for them for pick up orders is not to stack the soups on top of each other. The two soups on the bottom both collapsed and pieces of plastic were in the soup and broth spilt out of them . It cost 55.00 for 4 bowls of soup after tax & tip. I don’t mind paying more for real ingredients, it just needed to be packaged better. Flavors were excellent but I would have liked the bowls to be bigger to include a little more broth and side ingredients. They come with loads of chicken ! I’ll definitely be back , the Aguadito chicken soup was so delicious I crushed both bowls ! ”

“ First time at this location. The employees are friendly and very helpful when choosing what to have. Spanish "fast casual". Very large menu with choices of soups, beef, pork, chicken and seafood dishes, very casual and laid back. Order at the counter and pick up at the counter when number is called. When eating in your food comes on actual China dishes with metal utensils. I had the Spicy Seafood Mix. I am not someone who likes spicy food, it was mildly spicy. The sauce that came with it was delicious and a large piece of white fish (the length of the plate it wa s served on) was breaded and perfectly fired crispy (even in the sauce) the fish was very delicious. It also had Bay scallops and shrimp over the fish. My side was yellow rice with black beans, also perfectly prepared and delicious. My wife had the Boneless Chicken Breast Platter. Grilled chicken beats with yellow rice, black beans and Tostones. My wife loved the onion bar, a varuety of onions in sauces. She enjoyed the grilled chicken beat with several of the onion sauces from the onion bar. She also like her Tostones, yellow rice and black beans. LA Granja locations can vary greatly in experience from location to location. This is one of the very good ones. We highly recommend you try it out and stop by to take out of eat in, either way you will not be disappointed. ”

“ I wish there could be a good La Granja in Fort Pierce vs. the consistently lousy one out west near the turnpike. This one in PSL is good, not great though like some of them in Broward or a couple of the ones in Orlando. ”
